Advocacy Matters Because Every Voice Matters

We provide vulnerable adults with independent advocacy to ensure they are heard, and their rights, concerns and needs are acted upon.

Stories

Bringing our work to life

The best way to understand what advocacy can do is to hear from the people who’ve experienced it. Our case studies and stories show how advocacy has helped real people navigate difficult situations, understand their rights, and get the support they were entitled to. Every story is different – but they all show what’s possible when someone has an advocate in their corner.

Get Involved

Support Our Work

You can support Advocacy Matters in two great ways. Make a donation to help us reach more disabled people across Birmingham and Walsall who need an advocate in their corner – every contribution goes directly towards our work. Or pick up a copy of Speak Up Square, our children’s book about Ali the Advocate, which helps young people understand the importance of speaking up and being heard.
